Optimal Design and Experiment of Corn-Overlapped Strip Fertilizer Spreader

As the complex terrain in hilly areas is not conducive to corn mid-tillage precision fertilization, a corn-overlapped strip fertilizer spreader was designed without an external power source. By configuring passive overlapping spreading method with three-branch split chamber structure, uniform of strips achieved. A horizontal and vertical movement model developed determine angle extending tube, width fattening small plates, height spread as main factors affecting distribution pattern. The single-factor ternary orthogonal rotational combination response surface simulation test carried out pendulum angle, width, transversal uniformity coefficient longitudinal indicators. results showed that height, had significant effects (p < 0.05) on coefficient, considerable impact coefficient. In optimal parameters, swing 52°, 400 mm, 50 mm operation, coefficients both were less than 0.15%. verification under parameters for tests conditions standard. consistent within error range. deviation values 8.11% 9.01%, respectively. able complete operation smoothly. This study provides evidence further optimizing performance applicator.
